Description

The Lending Strats team supports the CRE (Commercial Real Estate) and FSL (FID Secured Lending) businesses globally by delivering high-value business-related analysis and associated technology. The group often collaborates with the rest of the Securitized Product Strats, and more widely with the Fixed Income Division (FID) Strats, as well as Strats in other divisions of the firm.

In this context, we are looking for a consultant to work with the global Lending Strats team. The candidate will be involved in the continued development for a client relationship and interaction management tool, focusing on front-end development. The system is used by a wide range of both public and private side users to collaborate and maintain information about ongoing client interactions and trades.

The role requires strong communication skills as well as extensive practical experience in web development, along with the willingness to learn and apply new and in-house technologies. A successful candidate will be able to ramp up quickly and work independently on assignments, and enjoys all aspects of working in a fast-paced and agile environment.

Skills and Qualifications

The candidate should have the following skills and qualifications:

Proficient web-development programming skills in Angular/React framework.
Knowledge of, and willingness to work with legacy Angular

JS codebase
Experience migrating Anguar

JS into Angular 2 a plus
Programming language (Java/C++/Python) and DB (No

SQL/Transact

SQL) experience a plus.
Any experience with KDB/Q a significant benefit.

Familiarity with Unix, Git, and development tools such as Visual Studio
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team and across organizational boundaries
Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Ability to think creatively and strategically, and thrive in a dynamic and often ambiguous work environment
Attention to detail
Minimum 3 years of experience
