Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with an interest in test automation to join our growing team!
What you’ll do here:
Analyze requirements, propose solutions, and write specifications.
Design, develop, test, debug, and deliver robust back-end services/applications using Spring Boot/Spring Framework.
Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces in Angular.
Ensure code quality; write unit/integration tests; contribute to regression suites.
Explain technical choices and collaborate with stakeholders.
Provide support, maintenance, and bug resolution, mentor the team.
Contribute to the testing strategy; prepare/execute automated tests.
Document tools/environments; maintain automation frameworks.
Participate in code/test reviews; continuously improve QA standards.
What you bring to the table:
Minimum of 5 years of software development experience; excellent mastery of Java.
Strong proficiency required in Spring Boot, the Spring application framework, and Angular.
REST/SOAP, Jenkins, Jira;
Ready
API (asset).
Analytical mindset, autonomy, excellent communication, team spirit.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
Bilingualism. Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
