About the role
The Firmware Development Intern works in collaboration with the R&D Engineering team to design cutting-edge medical devices through testing and create various technical documents.
Your responsibilities will include:
Participate in the development of embedded software for FPGA for medical devices.Debug and fix embedded software issues.Troubleshooting hardware, firmware and software interactions.Contribute to the update of software documentation.Participate in the qualification of embedded software.Other duties as required.Required qualifications:
Undergraduate or master's degree (or working towards) in engineering or a related fieldExperience in developing and debugging FPGA firmware in VHDL/Verilog.Exceptional communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English.Preferred qualifications:
Experience with debugging tools (debugger, oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.).Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python.Good understanding of fundamentals of digital and analog circuit design.Ability to learn quickly to drive tasks to completion.Able to work autonomously while being rigorous and attentive to details.Talent for clearly communicating challenging technical subject matter.Working proficiency in French.Veuillez noter qu’il s’agit d’une occasion de contrat d’une durée de six mois, débutant dès que possible

Le stagiaire en développement de micrologiciels collabore avec l’équipe d’ingénierie R et D afin de concevoir des dispositifs médicaux de pointe par le biais de tests et de rédiger divers documents techniques.
Responsabilités :
Participer au développement de logiciel embarqué de microcontrôleurs et FPGA pour des dispositifs médicaux.Débogage et correction de bogues.Dépannage de problèmes d’interactions entre les circuits électronique, le logiciel embarqué et le logiciel haut-niveau.Contribuer à la mise à jour de documentationParticiper aux tests de qualifications de logiciel embarqué.Autres tâches selon les besoins.Compétences requises :
Diplôme de premier cycle ou de maîtrise (ou en cours d’obtention) en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexeExpérience en développement et débogage de logiciel embarqué en C/C++ et FPGA en VHDL/Verilog.Compétences exceptionnelles en matière de communication, maîtrise de l’anglais à l’écrit et à l’oral.Compétences souhaitées :
Expérience avec des outils de débogage (débogueur, oscilloscope, multimètre, etc.).Compétence avec des langages de script comme Python.Bonne compréhension des bases du design de circuits digitaux et analogues.Capacité d’apprendre rapidement et d’amener des tâches à complétion.Capacité de travailler de manière autonome en étant rigoureux/se et en portant attention aux détailsTalent pour communiquer clairement des sujets techniques complexes.Une bonne connaissance du français.Requisition : 621131
