We are looking for senior Java developers to work with large clients in a variety of contexts. In this role, the associate actively contributes to the development of modern backend applications based on microservices architectures, the design of high-performance and secure RESTful APIs, and the continuous evolution of application platforms.

You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, innovative technological solutions aligned with business needs. Your expertise in containerization, asynchronous messaging (Kafka), and cloud deployment will be leveraged to optimize system performance, reliability, and security.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java backend applications according to industry best practices

• Participate in defining and evolving the application architecture, including microservices architectures

• Develop scalable, high-performance, and secure RESTful APIs using Spring Boot

• Contribute to the integration of databases and third-party systems

• Implement asynchronous communication mechanisms (e.g., Apache Kafka)

• Participate in the redesign and improvement of cross-functional architectures

• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices

• Collaborate on requirements analysis, module design, and the development of technical solutions

• Act as a technical expert for other developers and contribute to the team's skills development

• Evolve technologies securely, in accordance with architectural targets

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Desired Profile

• Minimum of 7 years of development experience Software, primarily in Java

• Bilingualism in French and English required (Communications are conducted in English with teams outside Quebec).

• Solid experience in backend development with Spring Boot

• Proficiency in Java concepts, object-oriented programming, and multithreading

• Experience with microservices architectures and RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of event-driven messaging technologies (Kafka)

• Experience with source code management tools (Git, Git Hub, Bitbucket)

• Ability to collaborate on business requirements analysis and the design of tailored solutions

• Proficiency in Windows and Linux development environments

• Team spirit, autonomy, technological curiosity, and a proactive approach

Technical Skills

• Java / Spring Boot

• Spring Core, IoC, OAuth2, Spring Security

• Frontend frameworks:
Angular or React (an asset depending on the project)

• RxJS, NGRX, Bootstrap

• AWS cloud services:
Lambda, EC2, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB

• Messaging tools:
Apache Kafka

• Agile/Dev Ops Methodologies

Strengths

• AWS Developer Certification

• Experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications.
