Focus on core OS innovations as an Embedded Firmware Engineer. Design and implement high-performance observability systems within resource-efficient embedded environments across coprocessor architectures.
Contribute to the Core Operating System team with a specialization in firmware observability. This role includes developing telemetry solutions, partnering with product teams, and selecting critical introspection data that influences decisions. Maintain standards of excellence in coding, documentation, and testing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop logging and tracing systems for embedded processors
• Work across teams to surface telemetry into development tools
• Shape data insights that impact product quality
• Ensure coding and documentation adhere to high standards
• Focus on minimizing overhead in resource-constrained environments
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Solid experience in developing embedded software
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and collaboration skills
• Low-level systems experience preferred
