In this role, Ciena is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer who can contribute to our leading-edge Data Center management solutions. You will leverage over seven years of experience in software development, particularly in embedded Linux environments. Your proficiency in C/C++ and Python will support the design of robust PON management software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop next-gen Routing and Switching software solutions
• Contribute features to Ciena's PON management software
• Implement software for real-time embedded environments
• Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on software testing
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
• 7+ years in software development experience
• Expertise in C/C++, Python, and software engineering practices
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and software tools
• Demonstrated experience with remote team collaboration
