In this role at IBM Software, you will focus on building and operating backend systems that support our data streaming platform. Your experience in designing and implementing distributed systems will be key as you work closely with product managers and other engineers. Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop backend services for performance and reliability
• Own end-to-end feature development from requirements to rollout
• Collaborate on data modeling and integration across platforms
• Write clean and testable code, participate in code reviews
• Improve engineering practices and tools for safer code deployment
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree;
Master’s preferred
• Strong backend system design experience in production
• Proficiency in Java, Go, C/C++, or Python
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems
