EDC Student Internships / New Grad Positions – Technology and Analytics General Stream
This pool is for students and new graduates with technology and analytics skills and interests.

Student and New Grad Opportunities
Internships and co‑op programs are designed to give your career a strong start. Fall work terms begin at four months in length and may be extended for an additional four months or more, depending on business needs. Most roles are full‑time, with flexibility for part‑time work.
Eligibility & Requirements
Studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Business Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related fields.
Interested in development, analytics, software, business analysis, or a similar area.
Preferably a business or technology‑focused student wanting to work in the IT space of an organization.
Looking to gain experience in a Crown Corporation and develop foundational career skills.
Currently enrolled or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program, eligible for up to one year after completion.
Available for 8 months or more; preference will be given to candidates with extended availability.
Previous work‑term experience related to field of study preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Motivated self‑starter with good organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Enthusiasm to tackle tasks of all levels of complexity.
Knowledge of both official languages is an asset and may be required for certain positions.
What to Expect from an EDC Work Term
Build cross‑functional professional networks, identify and pursue opportunities for improvement and innovation, and continuously learn and grow through coaching and mentoring from professionals throughout EDC. Work in a high‑performing, fast‑paced, and flexible environment facilitated by technology and report to any of our EDC Hubs across Canada.

Compensation Details
1st Year Students: $42,900 ($22.00/hr)
2nd Year Students: $44,850 ($23.00/hr)
3rd Year Students: $46,800 ($24.00/hr)
4th Year and Beyond Students: $48,750 ($25.00/hr)
New Graduate (Undergraduate): $54,600 ($28.00/hr)
Master’s/PhD: $56,550 ($29.00/hr)
Location
EDC operates in a hybrid work environment, with a current requirement of two in‑office days per week, potentially increasing to three days per week in September 2026 (subject to change).
Opportunities may be performed from EDC’s headquarters in Ottawa or from one of our Community Hubs in Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Brossard, Laval, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, or Vancouver.
