MDA is hiring an Embedded Development Team Lead to drive software architecture and implementation for satellite missions. This role demands expertise in Linux and embedded systems development.

As a lead in an agile setting, you will oversee the creation and documentation of complex software vital to satellite operations. Your deep knowledge of C++, C, and Python will be critical in guiding the technical path of your team. Engage with clients and contribute to new proposals, ensuring project alignment on budget and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on software design for satellite delivery

• Implement and refine embedded Linux solutions

• Conduct one-on-ones to foster team development

• Oversee third-party subcontracting efforts

• Update program managers on project status

Requirements:

• Electrical or Computer Engineering bachelor’s degree

• 10+ years of embedded software experience

• Experience managing agile development processes

• Proficient in C++, C, and Python programming

• Knowledge of low-level driver implementations
