In this senior role, you'll leverage over 10 years of experience in embedded software to create modular, reusable designs. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, focusing on firmware development, control algorithms, and software interface layers. Expect to engage closely with hardware and optical engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware assets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop firmware for hardware control architectures
• Implement control algorithms on Linux and FreeRTOS
• Create software interface layers using gRPC over Ethernet
• Provide accurate design estimates to management
• Adapt to varying tasks to meet development needs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years in real-time programming with C/C++
• Experience in low-level device interfaces like UART, SPI
• Proficient with lab equipment like oscilloscopes
• Knowledge of Linux kernel and SOC architecture
Utilize your experience in embedded Linux and real-time programming to enhance our optical line system products.
