Join Third Wave Automation as a Senior Software Engineer and lead the development of fleet service systems.
This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge machine learning and robotics technology, primarily in an on-site capacity in Union City.
The ideal candidate has 7-10 years of software engineering experience, particularly with backend components and distributed systems. You will drive core fleet service components’ transition to high-performance production systems while collaborating with leading forklift OEM engineers. Emphasizing a systems-first approach, your work will enhance reliability and optimize performance across our fleet management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of scalable fleet services codebase
• Architect data pipelines for real-time edge-to-cloud integration
• Implement robust monitoring and observability for infrastructure
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system failures
• Optimize performance of critical C++ components
Requirements:
• 7–10+ years in software engineering
• Mastery of modern C++ in Linux environments
• Site Reliability Engineering experience preferred
• Proficient in real-time data handling and messaging
• Strong skills in Linux and containerized systems
