The Role

We are seeking for an experienced SAP BTP Developer to join our team and help implement the latest SAP technology. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise, the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues, and be willing to work collaboratively to develop and deliver quality solutions.

Please note:

We are looking for candidates with strong, hands-on experience and knowledge in Java/ development, not just conceptual or high-level familiarity.

Responsibilities

Develop new and maintain existing technical solutions in an integration context using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

Use , Java, or Python to build BTP services/microservices.

Write reusable code, perform code reviews, and maintain documentation.

Monitor application health and debug complex issues across environments.

Work with SAP UI developers to connect frontend and backend components.

Create and execute unit tests or collaborate with QA on unit and integration testing strategies.

Participate in architecture decisions and propose improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

+ years of backend development experience, including: + years hands-on with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry/Kyma, CAP, BTP services). Solid experience with , Java/or Python is an important asset.

Familiar with SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Connector, and BTP Security (OAuth).

Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Ks is a plus).

Strong debugging and performance tuning skills in distributed systems.

Experience with AI or Generative AI is a strong plus.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Knowing French is considered an asset.

Experience with SAP Builds (SAP Build Process Automation, Low Code/No

Code), SAP AI Capabilies, Integration Suite is considered an asset.
