Drive innovative People systems at Git Lab as a Lead Engineer. Your expertise in automation and AI will enhance efficiency across our global workforce.
In this role, you will be the cornerstone of Git Lab's People Technology team. As the Lead People Systems Engineer, you will focus on AI-first transformations, owning the code, pipelines, and integrations that make our People automation ecosystem thrive. Expect to collaborate with diverse teams, leveraging your skills in Ruby and automation to solve complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own design, development, and maintenance of people systems
• Build integrations with Workday, Greenhouse, and Slack
• Write and maintain automation code in Ruby
• Develop intuitive Slack apps to streamline workflows
• Serve as subject matter expert on Workato architecture
Requirements:
• Experience in Ruby or a comparable scripting language
• Expertise in Workato with reliable automation workflows
• Strong Workday integration skills using WWS
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or AWS
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder updates
