We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer – AI & Dev Ops to take our platform and practices to the next level.
This is not a traditional development or infrastructure role.
It sits at the intersection of software engineering, AI enablement, and platform engineering: you’ll use your strong Python skills to build the mission-critical tools that power trading operations, lead the adoption of AI and agentic workflows to transform how we build software, and own our Dev Ops and platform foundations.
You’ll help us run a stronger platform today while shaping how we build software tomorrow.
What You Will Do Lead efforts to automate our SDLC and operations through Agentic AI & Spec-Driven Development as well as delivering AI-powered tools for traders.
Build and improve data pipelines, internal tools, and client-facing products that drive revenue Own and evolve our Dev Ops and CI/CD practices, as well as internal engineering guardrails, including infrastructure patterns, observability standards, and secure-by-default workflows.
Optimize costs by identifying waste, improving resource governance, and implementing sustainable cost controls Help establish practical governance, security, reliability, and cost controls for both our cloud platform and AI ecosystem.
Reduce key-person risk by documenting systems, codifying knowledge, and turning ad hoc practices into repeatable operating models Act as a senior technical reference on architecture, operational risk, prioritization, and engineering quality Raise the team’s effectiveness of the engineering team by coaching others, and sharing best practices What we're looking for 8+ years in software engineering, platform engineering or Dev Ops, with direct ownership of production infrastructure, incident response, and reliability at scale Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of generative AI and agentic workflows across teams to improve productivity, including AI development tools, SDLC automation and Spec-Driven Development Strong experience designing and operating cloud-native systems in AWS, GCP, or Azure, including — networking, IAM, containers, and multi-environment setups Kubernetes in production Deep hands-on Dev Ops across Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, rollback strategies, and observability (metrics, logs, tracing, alerting) Strong Python skills, with the ability to build mission-critical tools, automation, and backend services that support trading operations and the engineering platform Good understanding of cloud security and secure-by-default practices, including IAM, secrets management, access controls, and infrastructure governance Proven track record improving cloud cost efficiency, system resilience, uptime, and platform governance/standards Good command of SQL and data platform concepts, with the ability to support production data pipelines Strong operational mindset, sound judgment, pragmatism, and the communication skills to work effectively with technical teams and senior leadership Our tech stack Python (3.12+, UV, Ruff, unittest, etc.)
