Montréal Hybrid Python and React FullStack Developer

We are looking for a Python / React Developer for one of our clients, an investment bank set in Montreal

The primary mission of the team is to provide (and maintain) a web application for control/supervision/first line of defense and reporting to Trading desk managers as part of the implementation of regulator recommendations.

• Understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Participate in the maintenance (support, development) of current tools (CI/CD, Unit Testing).
• Participate in the development of Web tools (React/Python/ELK Stack/SQL).
• Work as part of a team using Agile practices and collaborate with product owners.
• Maintain strong relationships with all requested departments and users

• Experience with relational databases (such as MS SQL)
• Good knowledge of version control systems, especially with platforms like Git Hub or Git Lab and issue tracking system (JIRA for Scrum boards)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment
• Language:
  Fluent in English, French is a plus.
