Java Developer - Expert

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain REST application programming interfaces that meet business needs
• Modernize existing applications by upgrading them to newer technologies
• Adopt Dev Sec Ops  practices to integrate security into every stage of the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze change requests, evaluate their impacts and implement appropriate solutions
• Ensure operational support, maintenance and evolution of applications
• Document the platforms as well as their functional and technical specifications
• Develop, document and validate test cases associated with the solutions developed
• Participate in integration tests and support teams in the resolution of anomalies
• Perform code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the documentation of existing and new applications
• Validate implementation activities to ensure the quality, stability and security of systems
• Integrate artificial intelligence agents into development practices to accelerate design, programming, and testing
• Critically evaluate the deliverables produced by the AI agents, including code, tests, and technical recommendations
• Contribute to the evolution of development practices towards effective collaboration between teams and artificial intelligence agents.

The profile sought is as follows:

• Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in application development, particularly in the design of REST application programming interfaces
• Hold a bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent work experience
• Be proficient in Java 17 or later, Spring Boot 3, and Git
• Apply Dev Ops practices using tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Harness, and Docker
• Leverage Amazon Web Services and Kubernetes environments
• Commonly use artificial intelligence agents, including Git Hub Copilot, to support design, development, and testing
• Analyze the results generated by the artificial intelligence tools with discernment and make the necessary adjustments
• Understand the service-oriented architectures and design principles of REST application programming interfaces
• Knowledge of Decision Modeler Platform or Blaze Advisor is a strong asset
• Demonstrate curiosity, autonomy and a constant willingness to learn
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the delivery of innovative features
