Test Automation Specialist

• Design and develop frameworks, scripts, and test automation tools;
• Define and execute strategies, plans and test cases for critical systems;
• Increase the coverage of automated tests and prioritize the scenarios to be automated;
• Collaborate with development teams to improve the quality and coverage of unit tests;
• Integrate and promote automation technologies such as Playwright, Pact, and Wire Mock;
• Support teams through mentoring, pair programming, workshop facilitation, and sharing best practices;
• Participate in design, code, and architecture reviews when modernizing applications;
• Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies and present results at sprint reviews.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience;
• Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in software development and test automation;
• Demonstrate experience in implementing automation strategies for critical business applications;
• Master the testing pyramid and modern quality assurance practices;
• Have experience with unit, component, API, integration, functional, end-to-end and performance testing;
• Master Playwright, PACT, K6, Wire Mock, xUnit and Sonar Qube;
• Have advanced experience with Azure Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, and quality gate implementation;
• Expand efficiently with .NET/C#, SQL, Type Script, and Power Shell;
• Be familiar with continuous integration tools, including Azure Dev Ops CI;
• Demonstrate excellent communication, influential leadership, mentoring and knowledge transfer skills;
• Move efficiently in a matrix structure;
• This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. French and English language skills are essential, both oral and written.
