Location: Montreal (administrative region)
Launch your software engineering career at Sweet Tech in Montreal as a Junior Software Engineer. Collaborate closely with developers, resolve client-reported issues, and develop solutions using AI coding tools.
You will engage directly with clients, understand their challenges, and reproduce reported issues for deeper investigation. As part of a small, dedicated team, you will learn to utilize Claude Code and Codex while receiving guidance from experienced colleagues. Your initial focus will be on bug resolution, gradually evolving to build product improvements as your skills grow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate directly with clients to clarify issues
• Reproduce client-reported issues with detailed documentation
• Investigate causes using AI coding tools and develop fixes
• Maintain Jira tickets with the latest status updates
• Collaborate with the CTO on complex or urgent matters
Requirements:
• Degree or experience in software development
• Proficient in Python or JavaScript/Type Script
• Ability to debug and explain technical issues
• Strong written communication skills
• Curiosity about AI coding tools and their applications
