Software Engineer; Agentic AI

Position: Software Engineer (Agentic AI)
Location: Montreal

Remote | Montreal (must be a Permanent Resident - PR)

Build production-grade Agentic AI systems, not proofs of concept.

We are seeking a hands-on  Software Developer  to design, build, and deploy enterprise-scale AI solutions that solve real business problems. This is a software engineering role focused on creating production-ready agentic systems using context, memory, guardrails, tool calling, orchestration, and AI-driven development workflows.

NOTE:

this is a not ML Engineer or Data Scientist

What You'll Do

Design and build enterprise-grade Agentic AI solutions and AI-powered applications.

Develop scalable backend services using  Python  (and ideally Go or Rust).

Architect systems that integrate with multiple internal services while optimizing performance and latency.

Leverage agentic coding tools such as  Claude Code, Codex, and Copilot  to accelerate development.

Guide, validate, and improve AI-generated outputs, ensuring reliability, security, and production readiness.

Evaluate emerging AI technologies and drive AI adoption across the SDLC.

What We're Looking For

7+ years of software engineering experience

3-5+ years building and deploying AI solutions in production environments

Experience building  Agentic AI systems  and enterprise-scale GenAI solutions

Strong system design and software architecture skills

Proven track record delivering highly available, production-grade applications

Daily user of AI development tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Codex

Nice to Have

Go or Rust development experience

Experience modernizing SDLC processes with AI agents

Lang Chain, Llama Index, CrewAI, MCP, or agent orchestration frameworks

Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
