Join a leading Montreal client as a Senior eCommerce Solutions Engineer specializing in Ruby on Rails. Leverage your strong development skills and client consulting experience to design and execute tailored eCommerce solutions.
We are seeking an experienced engineer with over five years in Ruby on Rails and Node.js development. This role involves direct client interaction, technical solutions consulting, integration design, and active development. You will be integral in guiding teams and addressing complex integration challenges across various client projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with clients to assess requirements and recommend solutions
• Design eCommerce integrations between Shopify and other platforms
• Develop Ruby on Rails and Node.js services using background jobs
• Translate designs into Jira tickets and guide developers
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and performance issues
Requirements:
• 5+ years of Ruby on Rails and Node.js development experience
• Shopify experience with APIs and custom applications
• Strong solution architecture and consulting skills
• Familiarity with asynchronous processing and message queues
• Ability to manage multiple client projects independently
