Service Now testing and automation are central to this School Board position, validating workflows, integrations, applications, and releases.
Reporting to the Business Solutions and Development Coordinator, the incumbent develops and executes quality assurance activities across the Service Now platform and business systems. Responsibilities include automated testing, integration validation, defect tracking, deployment support, and production troubleshooting. Collaboration with users, analysts, developers, and vendors helps confirm requirements and release readiness.
Key Responsibilities:- Test Service Now modules, workflows, forms, catalogs, and integrations
- Create, execute, and maintain automated testing frameworks
- Validate APIs, web services, data exchanges, and integrations
- Support deployments, upgrades, proofs of concept, and release validation
- Assist with incidents, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- Three years of relevant software assurance, testing, or development experience
- Experience with Service Now, Python, C#, and automated testing tools
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, REST, SOAP, and JSON
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
