Position: Kateri School Full-Time Bus Driver
Location: Montreal

Become a full-time Bus Driver at Kateri School, responsible for the safe and timely transport of students. Your driving skill will enhance educational experiences and community events.

This permanent position directly reports to the School Principal and involves operating the school bus to deliver students reliably to their schools and learning camps. Ideal candidates possess a valid driving license, effective communication skills, and knowledge of First Nations culture. Experience as a bus driver or in operating heavy vehicles is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the school bus for daily routes

• Supervise students and resolve conflicts on the bus

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks

• Assist with transportation for school activities

• Interact respectfully with parents and community members

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 or Class 2 License with “S” endorsement

• At least one year of relevant driving experience

• Completion of a Defensive Driving Program

• First Aid, CPR, and WHMIS certifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles
