- Handle, arrange and follow all transportation requests end to end from our different customers.
- Handle oversized and general cargo transportation operations and requirements of the A220 program.
- Ensure effective execution of all transportation activities for incoming and outgoing material with our different service providers.
- Ensure the daily follow-up of all transportation activities with service providers and communicate with internal clients.
- Be accountable for all orders to be shipped and delivered on the agreed dates.
- Maintain and improve transportation processes.
- Ensure compliance with international (air, ocean and ground) transportation and customs rules for oversized and general cargo.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
- Be a key contact for all transport operations for the A220 program.
- Interface and communicate with internal departments (Logistics, Procurement, Supply and Production) to support on-time deliveries.
- Measure, consolidate, update and follow KPIs.
- Participate in the operational monthly review with our service providers.
- Work 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with weekend rotation (once per month) to handle urgent shipments.
- Be proactive and able to propose back-up solutions when facing a transport issue.
- Bachelor's Degree in Transport and Logistics or equivalent background and/or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position.
- Good knowledge of the North American transportation market.
- Solid knowledge of oversized transportation by ground and ocean, and of general cargo (air and ocean).
- Stress resistance and customer orientation.
- Logical, proactive and reactive, with strong anticipation skills.
- Good interaction and communication skills at all levels, internally and externally.
- Adherence to internal processes, rules and company policies.
- Organized, conscientious, methodical and rigorous.
- Quality service-oriented and strong team spirit.
