Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, the Transportation Planner is responsible for transportation of orders in Quebec. If you are looking for an exciting role in a team‑oriented environment, this is the job for you!

• Manage a portfolio of carriers to arrange the transportation of all inbound, outbound, direct, or stock transfer orders
• Responsible for safe, efficient, legal and economical operation of all transportation activities
• Ensure meeting customer delivery requirements in a cost‑effective manner
• Collaborate with external stakeholders (vendors, carriers) to communicate requirements
• Use and maintain SAP Transportation Management System (TMS) to optimize common carrier, dedicated fleet and private fleet freight orders
• Work with local plants on capacity planning and special requirements
• Support EHS & Sales regarding compliance, health, safety and environmental affairs
• Assist internal stakeholders on corrective actions related to missed deliveries, incidents and capacity, determining root cause and establishing preventative actions
• Reconcile freight expense variances
• Perform other related tasks as assigned

• University degree or college diploma with specialized training in a related field (e.g., transportation)
• CIFFA & P.Log certifications are considered an asset
• Minimum of 1–3 years of transportation experience
• Strong organizational aptitude, detail oriented, and excellent time‑management skills
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Team player who is customer‑oriented, self‑motivated, and can interface confidently with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Bilingual in French and English (proficiency in English is required, as the position involves interaction with colleagues, clients and suppliers outside Quebec)
