Forklift Operator in Ottawa Warehouse

Join Morin Supply in Ottawa as a Forklift Operator. This role involves operating a counterbalance forklift to manage shipping and receiving tasks in a dynamic warehouse setting.

As a Forklift Operator, you will support the Yard Manager by loading and unloading trucks, assisting with material handling, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. Your responsibilities include ensuring accurate inventory management, performing daily safety inspections, and assisting in customer orders. This full-time position is an essential part of our operations team at Morin Supply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift for loading and unloading trucks

• Assist with manually picking various building materials

• Maintain clean and safe warehouse conditions

• Complete required documentation and reports

• Conduct daily pre-operational forklift inspections

Requirements:

• 6 months to 1 year of forklift experience

• Valid forklift certification preferred

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather
