Job Description

We are currently looking for a versatile Class 1 Driver to join our team. We are seeking a resourceful, self-motivated individual who can adapt quickly to changing priorities. No two days are the same here: you will take on a variety of responsibilities and face new challenges every day.

In addition to your driving duties, you will play a key role in our operations. Depending on operational needs, you may assist with yard activities, help organize equipment, and act as a first responder to support drivers when a truck experiences issues on the road.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate various types of heavy-duty trucks based on operational requirements;

Provide operational support and respond to assist drivers experiencing breakdowns or other issues on the road;

Pick up and deliver ferrous and non-ferrous metals while adhering to all safety standards and providing excellent customer service;

Complete all required transportation and shipping documentation;

Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections;

Comply with all company safety policies and applicable regulations at all times;

Move, organize, and clean trailers as required;

Perform other related duties in support of daily operations.

Qualifications

To join our team:

You hold a valid Class 1 FM driver’s license
, with a good driving record

You have at least 2 years of experience

You are familiar with hydraulic systems

You have experience driving a variety of heavy vehicles, such as 12‑wheel roll‑offs, 4‑axle dump trucks, 4‑axle carcass trailers, etc.

You are safety‑conscious

You are in excellent physical condition

You have strong customer service skills

You are reliable, diligent, and punctual

You take good care of equipment and tools
