Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for a full-time role in Ottawa, ON. You will operate propane or diesel forklifts while overseeing inventory management in a safe work environment.
We’re looking for someone with over two years of forklift experience and a strong safety record. You will be integral in managing outdoor inventory and fulfilling orders, so attention to detail and an eagerness to learn are key. Your responsibilities will include operating the forklift about 90% of the time, along with yard maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate temperature-controlled propane/diesel forklifts
• Pick and manage outdoor inventory effectively
• Receive and check incoming shipments for accuracy
• Ensure safety through yard maintenance and inspections
• Conduct inventory cycle counts for efficiency
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of forklift operation experience
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Forklift Licence preferred
• Availability for Monday to Friday work hours
• Must be fluent in English
