Location: Drummondville
Job Overview
This is an interview position that involves operating company vehicles, delivering and picking up packages across a minimum of 15 routes, and covering open routes when primary couriers are unavailable. The candidate will mentor hourly employees, demonstrating leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and best‑practice methods while also promoting sales and generating incremental revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities
Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages across various routes.
Provide coverage for open routes in the absence of the normally assigned courier.
Model mentorship for hourly employees, exhibiting strong communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
Promote sales and generate incremental revenue where possible.
Qualifications
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience :
Minimum six (6) months of previous courier experience.
Technical Skills :
Valid driver’s licence with a good driving record.
Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurring training, including DG certification when required.
Ability to obtain and maintain Fed Ex DG Specialist certification.
Good understanding of Fed Ex products, services, and general operations.
Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
Some knowledge of Federal Express operations and Canadian customs regulations is an asset.
In Quebec, bilingual (French and English) is required.
Interpersonal Skills :
Excellent human and customer relations and communication skills.
Good analytical , problem‑solving, prioritization, and organization skills.
Schedule / Compensation
Full‑time, Monday to Friday.
Salary: TBD.
