Join First Student as a Bilingual Location Safety Manager to ensure safety excellence in transportation. You will guide operations and train staff while promoting a strong safety culture.
In this role, you will be responsible for administering driver compliance, supervising trainers, and investigating accidents. Your input in analyzing safety trends will be crucial for enhancing our safety protocols. This managerial position also involves preparing compliance documents and conducting performance checks to support safety across all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage driver hiring and compliance processes
• Guide and train location staff on safety practices
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents
• Maintain compliance files and submit necessary reports
• Conduct performance evaluations for drivers
Requirements:
• Bilingual in English and French
• Minimum of 2-3 years in safety or transportation
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Reliable transportation required for local travel
