Join Air Canada as an Aeronautical Database Analyst focusing on Flight Management System databases. Your expertise will enhance aviation safety and operational efficacy for our fleets.
This role involves managing navigation databases for Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge, and Air Canada Jetz. With a minimum of three years in aeronautical services, you will oversee data validation and compliance mechanisms essential to flight operations. Your efforts in resolving navigation data issues will directly contribute to flight safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead management of FMS and TAWS databases
• Validate navigation data releases for regulatory compliance
• Evaluate data changes and initiate necessary alerts
• Support resolution of safety-related navigation anomalies
• Validate and maintain aeronautical procedure coding
Requirements:
• College diploma or university degree in aviation or engineering
• Minimum 3 years in Flight Operations or Aeronautical Services
• Knowledge of ICAO standards and ARINC coding
• Proficiency in FMS and TAWS platforms
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
