Position: CPKC Rail Testing Supervisor Role

Step into the Rail Testing Supervisor role at CPKC, where your expertise in ultrasonic testing will enhance rail safety. This on-call position is critical for maintaining the integrity of rail services.

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the reliability and safety of CPKC’s rail lines. This entails using state-of-the-art ultrasonic equipment to detect rail flaws while monitoring production schedules and safety regulations. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you will be instrumental in ensuring trains run smoothly and safely across the network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasonic rail testing across assigned territories

• Drive CPKC vehicles to testing locations

• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to high standards

• Communicate with Roadmaster regarding schedules

• Ensure safety through appropriate orders for train movement

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED necessary

• Valid driver’s license required for travel

• Practical testing and instrumentation experience

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment

• Strong verbal communication skills for teamwork
