AZ Driver Opportunity at DECAST

Location: Montreal

Drive tractor-trailer flatbed trucks with DECAST, a leader in Canadian infrastructure. Ensure safe delivery of products while managing trip logistics and vehicle inspections.

As an AZ Driver reporting to the Fleet Supervisor, you will operate flatbed trucks weighing over 40,000kg. Collaborate effectively with dispatch and customers while following safety protocols. Additionally, you will ensure proper cargo securing during transit and perform important vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate tractor-trailer flatbed trucks for product delivery

• Plan trip logistics and secure necessary transportation documents

• Communicate with dispatch, drivers, and customers via devices

• Ensure cargo is properly secured per safety guidelines

• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections

Requirements:

• OSSD or equivalent education

• Five years of AZ trucking experience required

• Valid Class 1 or A license with air brake endorsement

• Must be at least 25 years old per insurance

• Excellent communication and judgment skills
