In this on-call, temporary position, you will be a key representative of Canada Post, responsible for delivering mail and packages in your community. The role includes sorting deliveries, operating a postal vehicle, and engaging with customers. It emphasizes physical fitness and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort incoming and outgoing mail at the depot
• Operate a Canada Post delivery vehicle
• Deliver mail and parcels to customers on foot or by vehicle
• Unload and handle mail for future deliveries
• Ensure customer satisfaction with reliable service
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license for at least 3 years
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather
• Available for varied on-call schedules
• Proficiency in English or French required
