As a Short Haul Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe operation of specialized trucks while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You'll coordinate closely with dispatch and customers, manage inspections, and maintain detailed documentation. Key Responsibilities:
• Navigate various conditions while operating trucks safely
• Perform thorough inspections pre- and post-transport
• Handle necessary documentation and submit promptly
• Comply with SECURE safety measures consistently
• Keep clear communication with the dispatch team
Requirements:
• Possession of a valid Class 1 driver's license
• Minimum three years of driving experience in transportation
• Expertise in TDG regulations and load securement
• Knowledge of local geography and highway systems
• Flexibility for varying shifts with possible overtime
