In this challenging and mobile role, Sperry Rail seeks a CDL Driver who will travel for extended periods, primarily in and around Roberval and Val d’Or. You will play a pivotal part in rail safety operations, driving hi-rail and rail-bound vehicles while assisting with inspections and maintenance tasks. Strict compliance with safety and DOT regulations is crucial for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hi-rail trucks and rail detector cars effectively

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections diligently

• Monitor data collection during rail inspections

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on vehicles

• Communicate with team members regarding equipment and safety

Requirements:

• Hold a valid CDL Class 5 with required endorsements

• Bilingual in English and French

• Basic mechanical aptitude and skills

• Ability to meet physical and health standards for the role

• Preferred prior experience in commercial driving (2+ years)
