Drive tractor-trailers and straight trucks on varied routes, using inspection and documentation skills. English or French is required for this on-the-road position.
This truck driver position requires a secondary school graduation certificate and seven months to less than one year of experience. You will transport goods and materials, operate lighter special-purpose trucks, and oversee vehicle condition. Work locations may vary, with frequent or constant travel required.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate straight or articulated trucks transporting goods and materials
- Drive lighter, special-purpose trucks as assigned
- Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Oversee all aspects of the vehicle during trips
- Maintain driver logbooks and inspection reports
- Secondary school graduation certificate
- Seven months to less than one year of experience
- Valid driver's licence
- Driver's record check, including abstract
- Reliability and English or French language ability
Use tractor-trailer operation, inspection procedures, and reliable documentation practices while transporting goods across changing work locations.
