DND is staffing one Driver position supporting services for the Canadian Armed Forces. The work requires operating passenger vehicles carrying up to 15 passengers and 5-ton trucks. Candidates may also need to learn other vehicles, complete physically demanding tasks, and work varied schedules. Some positions require a DND 404 driver’s license and security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive passenger vehicles carrying up to 15 passengers
Operate 5-ton trucks for assigned daily taskings
Learn and operate other vehicles as required
Complete physically demanding driving-related tasks safely
Work scheduled standby, overtime, weekends, nights, evenings, holidays
Requirements:
Experience driving passenger vehicles up to 15 passengers
Experience operating 5-ton trucks
English essential language requirement
Willingness to obtain and retain a DND 404 license
Willingness to work fully on-site in Borden
Bring passenger-vehicle and 5-ton truck experience to DND’s on-site Driver position supporting Canadian Armed Forces operations.
