Non-Ferrous Receiver Labourer Est

Step into a temporary Non-Ferrous Receiver Labourer role at our Montréal-Est site. This position, Monday to Friday, focuses on sorting and classifying non-ferrous materials while ensuring compliance.

You will report to the Site Manager and undertake essential responsibilities such as receiving and processing non-ferrous materials.

Your role impacts daily operations through material handling tasks and site maintenance, requiring a commitment to health and safety standards. Active participation in ensuring cleanliness and equipment upkeep is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality customer service and pricing communications

• Sort and classify non-ferrous metals accurately

• Weigh materials and input data into the RECY system

• Prepare and coordinate shipments of received materials

• Maintain cleanliness of the site and ensure equipment readiness

Requirements:

• Basic experience operating a forklift is an asset

• Strong focus on health and safety compliance

• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions

• Interest in metal recycling and basic knowledge of metals

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
