Ce poste de cariste consiste à travailler à 100 % du temps sur un chariot élévateur au sein d’un entrepôt structuré en trois départements : réception, préparation de commandes et chargement. Vous commencerez dans le département de réception, où vous déchargerez les camions, déplacerez les rouleaux de papier et organiserez l’inventaire dans l’entrepôt en respectant les consignes de santé et sécurité.

Responsabilités

• Décharger les camions en utilisant un chariot élévateur assis muni d’une pince ainsi qu’un chariot élévateur debout avec double manutention de palettes.
• Transporter de grands rouleaux de papier à l’aide de la pince à travers l’entrepôt et les déposer sur la tablette appropriée, puis retourner au camion pour poursuivre le déchargement.
• Organiser l’inventaire en plaçant les rouleaux au bon endroit dans l’entrepôt selon le client et les exigences de rangement.
• Effectuer la préparation de commandes et participer au chargement lorsque requis, en utilisant les différents types de chariots élévateurs.
• Suivre en tout temps les règles et procédures de santé et sécurité liées à l’utilisation des chariots élévateurs.
• Maintenir un espace de travail propre, ordonné et sécuritaire dans les différentes zones de l’entrepôt.
• Utiliser des systèmes informatisés de base pour soutenir les activités de réception, de préparation de commandes et de distribution, lorsque nécessaire.
• Collaborer avec l’équipe de production et de distribution pour assurer un flux de marchandises efficace et ponctuel.

This forklift operator role involves working 100% of the time on a lift within a warehouse organized into three departments: receiving, order preparation, and loading. You will start in the receiving department, where you will unload trucks, move paper rolls, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse while following all health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks using a sit-down forklift equipped with a clamp and a stand-up forklift with a double pallet handler.
• Transport large paper rolls using the clamp across the warehouse, place them on the correct shelf, and return to the truck to continue unloading.
• Organize inventory by placing rolls in the appropriate locations in the warehouse according to client requirements.
• Support order preparation and loading activities as needed, using the appropriate type of forklift for each task.
• Follow all health and safety rules at all times when operating forklifts and moving products in the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work area in all sections of the warehouse.
• Use basic computer systems, when required, to support receiving, order preparation, and distribution activities.
• Collaborate with the production and distribution teams to ensure an efficient and timely flow of goods.
