Adjunct Faculty, Lecturer of Biology
ABOUT THIS POSITION
Summary: Colorado Mesa University seeks an Adjunct Lecturer of Biology to begin Spring 2026. Teaching responsibilities include introductory Biology for non-majors (3 credit lecture + 1 credit lab each semester) and Microbiology for majors (3 credit lecture + 1 credit lab in fall only). Candidates with prior teaching experience in these areas are encouraged to apply. Courses are taught in person in Montrose, Colorado.
Minimum Qualifications- Master's degree in Biological Sciences or a closely related field
- Successful college-level teaching experience in general biology and/or microbiology (lecture and lab).
- Commitment to student success in diverse learning environments.
- Ability to coordinate lecture–lab alignment and maintain a safe, inclusive lab environment
Salary: $750.00 - 850.00 per credit hour. Commensurate with education and experience.
