Offer direct patient intervention and health‑wellness services consistent with state and federal laws, while demonstrating core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities- Support company health and wellness initiatives.
- Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Maintain current national or state registration, certification, or license as required.
- Assist pharmacists in all duties except those requiring professional judgment.
- Deliver a stellar customer experience through efficient reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
- Co‑coach and train clerks and technicians.
- Compound medications according to state and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform post‑fill audits to verify prescription accuracy.
- Support non‑dispensing services via various platforms and applications.
- Perform all CLIA‑waived screenings in compliance with state and federal law and company policies.
- Provide additional health and wellness services permitted by state and regulatory bodies.
- Enforce sanitation and safety regulations, identifying unsafe conditions and notifying management.
- Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information.
- Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure.
- Any previous comparable experience.
- Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy technician.
