Star Light Home Health in Montrose, CO is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients while earning competitive pay of $21/hour — plus travel time and mileage reimbursement!
We need day shifts, evening shifts and overnights for 24/7 care. We also have short shifts available.
Responsibilities:- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to client care plans
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean home environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
- Travel to client homes throughout the Grand Junction area
- Previous caregiving, home health, or personal care aide (PCA) experience preferred
- Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a client schedule
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
