The Lead Buyer will be responsible for providing "end to end" procurement support for a given set of "complex" direct materials or services. They will be required to apply sourcing policies, interface between supplier, entity, and internal stakeholders with respect to specifications, budgets, and schedules. The Lead Sourcing Specialist will also support the Regional Procurement Leader with team KPI’s, procurement initiatives and operational objectives.

• Handling quotes, placing POs, and following up with suppliers while managing PO‑related issues and schedule changes.
• Maintaining strong supplier relationships and keeping ERP systems and internal stakeholders updated.
• Supporting sourcing strategy development and communication with regional teams.
• Preparing and distributing reports for KPIs and operational planning.
• Driving cost savings and ensuring smooth PO execution with suppliers and internal teams.
• Managing problems, communicating required changes, and supporting strategic initiatives.
• Assisting the Regional Procurement Leader with resource planning, training, onboarding, and team task prioritization.

• Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Demonstrate experience in Sourcing.
• Have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Be able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
• Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
