Lead Product Planner

Responsibilities
  • Scheduling Management: Manage the overall project schedule, ensuring quality (logic, clarity) and accuracy.
  • Coordinating: Collaborate with other planners and execution functions (engineering, procurement, manufacturing) to maintain schedule quality.
  • Supporting Project Management: Provide visibility through look‑aheads, risks and mitigation actions, and schedule opportunities.
  • Reporting: Deliver relevant reports to enable project managers to make decisions and drive on‑time, on‑budget execution.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate schedule updates and explain current status, challenges, and opportunities to customers.
  • Process Improvement: Adhere to approved processes and proactively implement initiatives for fully integrated planning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in planning within the oil and gas/subsea industry, or in large‑scale mechanical manufacturing or controls equipment environments.
  • Knowledge of Oracle MRP is a plus.
  • Ability to link project status to the execution reality.
  • Rapid identification of risks and opportunities with appropriate actions.
  • Expertise in large‑project planning using Primavera P6.
  • High energy and motivation to deliver results.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for collaboration with planners and stakeholder interactions.
