Lead Product Planner

Responsibilities
  • Scheduling Management: lead overall project schedule management, ensuring quality, clarity and accuracy, updating dates and reflecting scope of supply.
  • Coordinating with other planners (product line, engineering) and execution functions (engineering, procurement, manufacturing) to ensure overall schedule quality.
  • Supporting Project Management: provide visibility with lookaheads, risks and mitigation actions, opportunities in the schedule.
  • Providing reports to project management for decision support.
  • Interacting with the customer to provide schedule updates and explain challenges and opportunities.
  • Adhering to approved processes and driving implementation of new initiatives to achieve fully integrated planning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or relevant experience.
  • Experience in planning, ideally in oil and gas/subsea or a related large‑scale manufacturing or controls equipment environment.
  • Knowledge of Oracle MRP is a plus.
  • Ability to understand project status and link the schedule to execution reality.
  • Ability to quickly identify risks and opportunities and drive appropriate actions.
  • Strong expertise in planning large projects using Primavera P6.
  • High energy and motivation to deliver and make a difference.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills required to collaborate with planners and large stakeholder panel.
