Labourer, Manufacturing ​/ Production, Manufacturing Production

We’re recruiting a Labourer to join a busy manufacturing facility in Montrose on a temp-to-staff basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, safety-conscious, and happy to support multiple departments to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain high standards of housekeeping across workshops and external storage areas

* Operate overhead gantry cranes, forklifts, and side loaders (as required)

* Move materials and components to support efficient workflow

* Power wash equipment and assist painters/blasters when needed

* Empty swarf, waste containers, and material off-cuts

* Carry out deliveries and collections safely and on time

* Support machine operators, supervisors, and other departments

* Maintain locker rooms, coverall storage, and production areas to 5S standards

* Accurately complete timesheets and Kronos timekeeping

* Follow all health & safety, quality, and company procedures

* Identify and report any health and safety risks

What We’re Looking For

* Valid B1 Forklift Licence (essential)

* Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or workshop environment

* Strong work ethic and a proactive, team-focused attitude

* Good awareness of health & safety and safe working practices
