Overview
Lead the implementation of the SPS Package Quality Management System (QMS) and develop the overall quality strategy for the SPS package. Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company standards.
Responsibilities- Lead the implementation of the SPS Package Quality Management System (QMS).
- Develop and drive the overall quality strategy for the SPS package
. - Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company standards.
- Review and approve Project Quality Plans
, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality documentation. - Oversee contractor, subcontractor, and vendor quality performance throughout engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and installation.
- Manage vendor surveillance activities across global manufacturing locations.
- Coordinate Third-Party Inspection (TPI) and certification activities.
- Lead quality audits, inspections, and surveillance programmes.
- Manage non-conformances (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor quality KPIs and provide regular reporting to project management.
- Ensure timely completion of Quality Dossiers, Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs), and certification packages.
- Liaise with the Project Quality Manager, inspectors, contractors, and key project stakeholders.
- Promote the highest standards of HSE, ethics, and quality throughout project execution.
- Minimum 15 years
' experience within the Oil & Gas industry. - At least 10 years' experience working on Subsea Production Systems (SPS).
- Previous experience in a QA/QC Lead or Quality Management role on major EPC/EPCI projects.
- Strong knowledge of subsea equipment, including trees, manifolds, umbilicals, and control systems
. - Proven experience managing vendor surveillance and global manufacturing quality.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Knowledge of international industry standards, including API, ISO, and DNV
. - Experience managing quality audits, inspections, NCRs, CAPA, and quality KPIs.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (or equivalent) certification is desirable.
- Experience working in multicultural, international project environments.
- Previous Total Energies project experience is advantageous.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Starting date:
September 2026 - Duration: 12 months
- Location:
UK based initially (Montrose and/or Bristol), frequent travel to other locations globally. Re-location to Baku for installation phase. - Status: residential
