NCE > NCE Supply Chain Warehouse Operations Offshore UK
Join the UK's first V site and play a key role in supporting offshore wind operations. You will manage warehouse activities, ensuring materials, tools, calibrated equipment, and spare parts are accurately controlled, inspected, forecasted, and prepared for offshore deployment.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring materials, tools, consumables, and spare parts are available to support offshore wind service activities
- Receive, inspect, store, and control inventory while maintaining high stock accuracy, audit readiness, and appropriate stock levels through forecasting and replenishment activities
- Coordinate with offshore teams to prepare, package, document, and deliver materials on time to support operational requirements
- Manage tooling, calibration schedules, and safety-critical equipment, ensuring compliance, readiness, and availability for offshore operations
- Monitor inventory usage trends, identify alternative sourcing solutions, and mitigate supply chain risks to prevent operational delays
- Lead cycle counts, inventory checks, and non-conformance (NCR) processes, coordinating repairs, replacements, and returns as required
- Maintain high standards of warehouse safety and 5S housekeeping while providing regular stock, material availability, and operational readiness updates to stakeholders
- 2-3 years of experience in warehousing, distribution centres, or production/manufacturing environments
- Good working knowledge of stock control, inventory management practices, and warehouse procedures
- Experience using SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Good level of written and spoken English with strong communication skills
- Ability to follow established written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently
- Strong understanding of, and commitment to, company health, safety, and compliance procedures
- Demonstrated computer literacy; relevant warehouse or logistics certifications are advantageous but not essential
As a person, we believe you have/are:
- Valid forklift licence with experience operating warehouse equipment and material handling machinery
- Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, and stock control with a strong focus on inventory accuracy
- Ability to independently manage warehouse activities, ensuring materials, tools, and consumables are available to meet operational requirements
- Knowledge of forecasting, safety stock management, inventory planning, and wider supply chain processes
- Experience managing tooling, lifting equipment, and calibrated assets is beneficial
- Renewable energy and/or offshore industry experience is preferred; customs, import/export, and shipping knowledge is advantageous
- Strong organisational, prioritisation, and workload management skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
