Responsibilities

  • Clinical Care – Provide assessment, triage, and management of patient needs, collaborating with physicians, performing procedures, prescribing treatments, and managing patient care in inpatient, outpatient, or ambulatory settings.
  • Patient Education & Psychosocial Support – Educate patients and families, provide psychosocial support, and collaborate on discharge planning.
  • Information Management – Ensure proper documentation and protect patient information.
  • Quality Management – Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Professional Development – Engage in ongoing education, serve as a clinical resource, and participate in research and quality improvement projects.
  • Qualifications

    • Education – Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
    • Experience – Clinical experience preferred but not required. Credentialing required for APRNs, PAs, CRNAs, and CNMs.
    • Licensure – Active PA Certification by NCCPA, Connecticut State Physician Assistant License, BLS/ACLS certifications, DEA license, and other relevant certifications as indicated.
