Position Summary
This position is responsible for physically setting up the environment for all events and overseeing the basic operations required for banquet or convention events at the Mohegan Sun Convention Center or the casino.

• Responsible for physically setting up the environment, including basic event equipment for all banquets and convention events inside or outside the convention center.
• Help monitor the event space for cleanliness or maintenance.
• Assist guests with moving equipment, materials, or boxes as directed by a supervisor.
• Keep storage rooms and back‑of‑house areas for the ballroom and convention center cleaned.

• Refresh rooms regularly according to written instructions.
• Follow Fire Marshal requirements.
• Carry out events off‑site when needed.

• Ability to do physical work moving and placing event equipment such as tables, chairs, podiums, and other gear.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Effective English communication skills.

• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Knowledge of operating policies including hours of operation.
• Knowledge of meeting room arrangement, such as dance floor and staging systems.
• Ability to operate an electric pallet Jack.
• Knowledge of ballroom, convention center, storeroom locations and different food areas in the casino.
• Working knowledge of the air Wall System.

• Knowledge of Mohegan Sun corporate and departmental policies and procedures.

• Capable of lifting 75 lbs.
• Capable of standing or walking for long periods.
• Capable of working outside at times.
• Capable of working in a fast pace also with many interruptions.
• Capable of working various shifts and flexible hours.
